Description:
This is a current pic of my Z28. I'm going to get it repainted in a year or less and can't
decide if I want to paint it Hugger Orange with white stripes or Electron Blue Metallic
(the new Vette color) with white stripes. Opinions? |

Well, actually, you could slap it on a Honda and that would probably screw it up pretty good, but other than that... |

#38 - I meant the retro theme. That would be dumb to paint a Camaro like a Mopar! |

I figured as much. And, done properly, retro paint works well on some modern domestics. |

If orange will work on a Honda (I've seen it, it wasn't too bad) Carosel Red'll work. The kid with the orange Civic (early '90s h/b) bought it painted orange w/metalflake ($12k paint job) and just recently it got key-scratched. I'd kill the bastard that did it. Even if he didn't pay the money for it, he's gotta pay to get it fixed. Key-scratched THE WHOLE DAMN CAR. |

#45: You're right. Car vandalism is the lowest form of revenge, too. |

#47 Well, I can't say that, I've done a little myself. But the guy had damn well better deserve it. The worst I've done was a '70 Chevelle SS. Actually I think that was the only one I've done. |

I don't believe somebody's car should be made to suffer unless they used the car to commit the infraction that really pissed you off; i.e. running over a pet, banging into YOUR car, etc.
Edit: And even then, I'd prefer to go face-to-face. I like chewing people out for crap they've done.

#49 Hey, the guy missed hittin' my wife by 3 FUCKIN' INCHES when she was walkin' MY SON TO SCHOOL. Yeah, I should've confronted him face to face, but I was half in the bag when my friend suggested otherwise. Thanx for gettin' all the info first, spanky.

Even then...face them. Crap like that will only get you something in return, like your car getting the same or worse treatment, or they'll burn your home down or something. Don't mess with people's property, if you have a problem, say something to their face. I think like this and I'm 5'6" and 120 pounds. (Just so you don't think I'm a huge guy who can get in people's faces and scare them)

Half in the bag? If that means what I think it does, you're a really great role model for your son. He's gonna grow up to be a ricer. |

#52: I'm not someone who can physically intimidate people either--I'm less than 6' tall and I'm of a pretty light build. I can still sometimes scare people a bit, but it's usually just by convincing them that I've got a few screws loose. |

Hey, I'm not sayin' I'd deal with it the same now. That was almost 7 yrs ago, I'd like to think I've matured a bit since then. But he did deserve retrobution. |

#53 Exactly how am I a shitty role model if I choose to drink beer in my own home after my son's in bed? I drink once in a blue fuckin' moon, and if I choose to do so I'm old enough. I've been old enough for a while now. You seem to be a real good example of effective problem-solving, BTW, McMunkee, I should definitely listen to you. |

Yeah, Lemming...I think the best way to scare someone is to make then think you're a raving lunatic. It's the funnest way also! |

My brother uses that method all the time. Works like a charm. So I'm still waitin', McMunkee... I'm usually not hostile like this on the net but I love how you call me scum AND a shitty role model without knowing anything about it. So you wanna explain what I asked in #56?

#56/58: Drinking after the kids are asleep sounds fine with me. At least it's not necessarily a frequent occurrance, and the kid isn't around to pick up on the habit. |
