Thanks, Troop. That's basically what I do, but with photos and more advanced explanation for Lemming's program. I wish I had photoshop. :( |

I don't even use Photoshop, but what I use is similar enough that most of the tips apply. Good stuff. |

Ah, I see.
I at least wish I had my old Corel Draw program back. I was pretty damn good with it. |

CorelDraw could do some neat stuff. There are a couple of free photo-editors out there like the GIMP; you might want to try poking around to see what you can find. I just use an outdated version of Paint Shop Pro. It's a pretty good product that rips off most of Photoshop's better features at less than 1/5 the cost. |

www.jasc.com. There's a trial version available. Prices range from $50-100, depending on what promotional offers are in effect at the time. |

It has most of Photoshop's features, like geometric transforms, layers with fancy adjustment modes, etc. And it's compatible with most Photoshop plugins. |

Or start looking for freeware stuff. There's some of that out there (haven't looked recently, though). |

I guess I'll stick to paintbrush for now. I'm currently working on Low-Tech Redneck's Firebird. |

Uh-oh! Can't wait to see what happens to that one. I need to do something to the actual picture of LTR sometime soon. Guess that'll wait 'til tomorrow; I've about had enough of this consciousness thing for one day.. |

Hey, does anybody know what number his Firebird is (it's the pic in his profile)? I'm almost finished with the car (coming along great), but I need to know what pic it is for the whole "is this a photoshop of another vehicle" thing. |
