As time goes on, I start liking the early 50's Chevies a lot more because at this point, everyone's worn me out on 57' Bel Aires....

I'll be honest - I've never cared for cars from the 50's. They all seem overwrought.

There are several that I love and a lot that I'm fairly ambivalent about. I used to favor the fanciest finned models when I was younger but now I find that in a number of cases, lower-trim versions appeal to me more ('59 Catalina vs Bonneville, for example). There are a few early to mid '50s cars also whose designs have grown on me over time, but I still don't think I could own a 1950s car.
