I think it's sad, but at least we're gettin' some of Japan's money. Nice to know it's not a one-sided deal. |

That's just what we do with the ones who have the steering wheel installed on the wrong side. We send the rejects to Japan. (Ok, I know, but I can be hopeful, can't I?) |

#7 Toyota technically didn't rip it off. GM and Toyota have been buddies for years. The mid to late 80s Nova was a Corolla, the new Vibe is a Matrix, etc. Re-badging... a cheap way to make a buck off something someone else made. Just like the Mitsu's that Mopar puts out and Fords that Mazda uses. And vice versa. |

Re-badging someone elses car has been around for a while, but recently it's hit an all time high, and I think that's the reason styling is going to hell on cars, they have to be made as bland and uninteresting as possible so they can be sold in 3 or 4 different markets with only minimal changes, and as a result, everything that traditionaly has been part of "american" cars is slowly being watered down and out |

#18 Pretty soon they'll all just look the same and the only differences will be badges and options.

Well, I dare you to try and tell a Ford Ranger and Mazda B-series apart if I rip the grille and tail lights out, bet you can't |
