No new WRX is good looking, just good performing.

All opinions. NOSsucks and I test drove a 2002 WRX today, it was sweet.

I'm debating one of these. I've done drag racing (the capri), autocross (the CRX), but never rally.

They look like nice cars, but I bet the insurance rates for 'em are pretty high--the people who own them seem to be like us Mustang owners--always looking for an excuse to floor it.

they suck below 3000 rpm, so you kinda have to floor it.

No, I don't mean the "waiting for the turbo to kick in" kind of flooring it. I mean the "all-paw traction 0wns j00, see how fast I can hit 60?" kind of flooring.

#8, well, all wheel traction does kind of own j00, as it were. it's very handy.

#9, Probably the fact that all the Mustang and Camaro drivers down here are freakin' insane.

#10, Yeah, but it gets kind of old watching 'em tear away from EVERY stoplight.

#11, not so much around here. most of them are V6s. it's really lame.

#13, Oh, we've got a lot of 6's too. It's just like the ricers, though--they don't let it stop them from going double the speed limit.

Me? I go around the speedlimit (never more than 10 over, usually around 0-5 over) but I like to accelerate, not that the 3.8 will pull all that hard...

I'm still getting used to the 383, and breaking it in, so I'm driving fairly conservatively.

I'm not really up on Chevy engines. Is the 383 a long-stroke 350, or is it a different block altogether?

#18, 350 with a 400 crank.
