cheating is only as bad as its allowed to get, if the hosts would do something about them it would stop. Ie diablo and diablo II, if the admins would just boot the guys that were causing the exploits on battle.net they would weed them out eventually and the system would work well. And as for playing random people, theres nothing cooler than coming home and sitting on top of a building with a sniper rifle or mowing someone down with a well placed rocket. Human opponents think and require alot more skill to kill :P But hey thats just me i like to play more than single player.
