#79, Oh...RIIIIGHT...I forgot...MSPaint only works in .bmp s .....almost ALL pictures on the internet are NOT .bmp...it's too complicated...I'm completely self-taught, and I'm a shitty teacher...so, ask someone else.

#75, Geez, that's a little harsh, isn't it? That's the former DiRFmobile you're talking about.

Of course, you said you "could care less", meaning you still care about it to a certain extent. ;)

#83, Figure of speech...I wouldn't care if a Mack truck came and flattened it...or if the world split open and it was sucked down into the bowls of the Earth...

#82, Depending on your version of Windows, MSPaint may be able to handle .JPG and .GIF files natively. The version that comes with Windows 2000 does, for example (but I use Paint Shop Pro, anyway).

Really, if you're interested in doing much in the way of graphics editing, use a program that has layering capabilities, like Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro. The results are generally much better because you can pull off more sophisticated effects. That does not, however, change the fact that it requires practice.

#87, Stands to reason, since it's basically an improvement* on Windows 2000. I also have Win98 Second Edition installed on my computer, and the version of Paint that comes with that does not have the ability to save in GIF or JPEG.

*well, maybe not. :-)

#90, Odd, the version on my Win98 partition seems to be lacking that.

#94, You save the picture.

Then you go to MSPaint.

Then you go to File, then open, then open the file that you saved.

Then tinker with it.

Then save it.

Then find a place on the internet to host it (like http://photo.ricecop.com ).

Then copy the URL to your picture and submit the picture.
