my new winter beater... white park avenue with dark dark tint... it was a grandma florida car. Every oil change / piece of work done on the car was evident in the stack of receipts in the glove box. Real creampuff of a car... 3.8L engine... 3500pds... and smooooooooth ride

Ah, can't beat the old luxury barge. I miss my old car sometimes--just wish it accelerated better.

#4 - it is a '91... just clean. I like a little luxury in my life ... anyways, I don't want to drive my SS in the snow/salt... and the wife has the AWD car...

It's just I always thought winter beaters were supposed to be BEATERS. "Rusty but Trusty", as the classified ads would always say.

In Minnesota, my father paid $200 for a '76 Dodge Ramcharger with a 318. It was green and the wheelwells were totally eaten out from the rust. We drove it to Mississippi and back twice, and it doubled as a daily driver in the winter (my parents owned a nearly new Cavalier at the time and didn't want to drive it in the elements). That was a damn fine truck. After we moved back to MS, we sold it for a $500 profit.

LAND BARGES RULE!!!

Yeah they do. In the winter this is probably the last thing to slide off the road becuase of black ice.
I wonder how much rust all the winter ricer will pick up this year?

The Park Avenue can take a whole gallon of Windshield Washer fluid. Thought you would like to know.

3.15? a little high for this car. True it isn't a great muscle car. But there is nothing at all cheezy about this. Just a big FWD car... so it s/b a 2.5 or so.

#19, heh, You guys had the shitty winters of 35W/E as well. Sucks ass. Try making it home from downtown St. Paul in the midst of a snowstorm on 35. It makes a 20 min trip take 3 hours.
