Description:
Now, had they stopped at the kit and the hood, I would have been okay with that, cuz they're really not that bad. But of course, this is NOPI we're talkin' about... |

#20 Wow, that's nice. I have an actual photoshop with alot of advanced features, but I haven't got the hang of it. What program are you using? |

Paint Shop Pro 5. It's an old program, but most of the tricks that work in Photoshop also work in PSP. |

Sweet. I'll have to remember that for when I get my own computer some time down the road. |

It's cheaper than Photoshop, too, which is why I use it. Under $100 for a registered copy, and sometimes far less than that, if you can get a deal on it. |

See, every thinks more expensive is better, but if you know where to look, you can find real quality stuff and not pay a fortune for it. |

Yeah, and practice helps--most of the really exotic features of Photoshop are never used by the average user. |

Yeah, no kiddin' I don't know what half of the things are on mine, let alone what they do. But it came with the computer, so it's there. I'd much rather use paint when I can, though, cuz it's a hundred times less complicated. I only do PS for layering pics like the one of Johnny behind the little boy. |

The most important features in a paint/photoshop program (as far as this kind of stuff goes) are:
Transforms/perspective warp--allows you to twist stuff around to get a more exact fit
Layering--allows you to build an image up as a composit of several layered sub-images
Adjustable blend modes--allows you to specify what a layer does to the layers underneath (color-changing, etc) |

I've done perspective and layering, but not the other. And even they can be a pain. |

Anyway, I'm currently repainting it. Any suggestions for wheels (source pics, etc)? |

remember what happened to that Sunfire that that policeman stopped for speeding on World Wildest Police chases or something like that? the girl got out and he was talking to her and someone in a big van was rubbernecking and they plowed into it with her family in there. hopefully that will happen to this (hopefully when no one's in it)

Ack! it reminds me of an RX7 in the front... but this is terrible with the paint job. I can take the wing... just that paint is *barf*... Lemming's photoshop is pretty nice. :) |

Yeah, looking at this one is sort of painful. The bodykit actually gives it decent lines, but the paint is so distracting. |

I would love this if I were blind. How is this car performance wise anyways? |

#35 Probably stock. You really can't see it well from this angle, but the scariest part is that it was made to be advertising for NOPI. The character on the hood is thier goofy smiley-face logo, with a chainsaw... I guess the theme is supposed to be a "wild car" being unleashed. The 2.4L GT version only puts out 140hp stock. I mean, it's a nice little car, but without performance mods, I wouldn't think it worthy of a body kit. |

What does NOPI actually do, anyway, besides stickers and fine quality license plate frames? |

#37 Ummm.... that's about it. Oh, and unrestrained destruction of decent cars. The name stands for Number One Parts Incorperated, I think, so they might do keychains, too. =)

#38 No, I think they just get ricers together and take pictures. |
