gah...i hate these things. mostly because I ended up paying for 3 of my girlfriends tickets in 3 consecutive days at the same...exact...location...

That's sorta funny.
Just kidding but "3 of my girlfriends tickets" is rather ambiguous. Where does the apostrophe go? Did your girlfriend get three tickets, or are you big pimpin'? :-)

well...actually I don't have a girlfriend. I just know someone who'd be angry if they heard me say that. :P sorry, that was a hard sentence to punctuate :P just one girlfriend...3 tickets.

"3 of my girlfriends " threw me off. It sounds like 3 girls to me. I wonder if he had three at once or 3 in 3 days. I'd dump them too if they got a ticket the day I met them and they expected me to pay for it.
I didn't even pay for my fiance's one speeding ticket.

Funny how one apostrophe can change the whole meaning of a sentence.
"3 of my girlfriends' tickets"
"3 of my girlfriend's tickets"
If that is left out, you honestly can't tell what which it's supposed to be.

You guys are lucky our photo radar vans are just normal ford windstars. Th eonly way you know for sure its a cop is buy the bulb on the front.
