hmm... the 3.0 Liter 6 cylinder 2JZ-GTE does this on factory internals, rear end, ecu, etc.

#25, No not really. #24But supras are just so damn heavy. Use the 2JZ in something lighter like an old toyota crown, that works really nicely, hook up a different gearbox and diff ratio and no real mods and your on your way to a nice old school car, that is also a fast sleeper.

This car would have more torque than a 1000hp Supra, anyway, and probably weigh 500lbs less.

#27, Oh hell yes, way more torque. #28 so would a 700 or so hp supra, its called adjustable boost controller. They work a treat.

#29, true, but this guy is running around with 1,030 hp everyday, and can turn it up to 1,250 hp if need be

Oh also it being turbo, he can keep them off boost fairly easy. Thats 1030hp peak is it not. (on that level of boost)

Since it's twin turbo, though, wouldn't it spool up faster? So you'd have to be more careful.

yeah i would think it would be really fucking hard to stay out of the gas enough to keep them from spooling

#32 What the supra or this? With this its more than likely twin turbo because you just cant run the needed level of boost though a turbo that size, and twins is more effecient. Also one turbo that damn big would come on in a HUGE rush at say about 5000rpm, which is NOT cool.

#35, This. I know most higly-tuned Supras are single-turbo.

Those huge turbos are pretty impractical for anything besides drag racing.

Even drag raceing big turbos can be a bugger, as they still need time to spool up. Anyway Im off to bed, cyas.

#24 the 2JZ can handle about 700hp with factory internals, not 1000.
