Description: Flying Mercedes at LeMans. It was even more dramatic than it looks here -- the car got much higher and ended up way out in the woods. Fortunately no one was hurt, but the team withdrew their cars immediately.

In todays news, Mobil 1 is banned from sponsoring cars in LeMans for sabtoging a car they sponsored so it would go up in the air and tilt forward to advertise their company logo.

IIRC, French law dictates that EVERY accident on public roads requires a sobriety test of the driver...and since LeMans IS run on public French roads, which are temporarily made into a race track, the driver of this car was given a breath test by French police officers...never heard what the results were, but I imagine he was sober :P
