#40, umm new psitons, crank, so on. unless you just want to run low boost, which in that case a SRT-4 would hand you your ass |

#41, I can find a turbo for my car that would be at least 100+ HP... and I would have to replace alot of other parts while putting it in anyways, I would put a hurtin on an SRT-4. |

This is all just another example of people underestimating the Neon.

#42, enjoy your engine while it lasts... when you run higher amounts of boost, forged is the the way to go. |

#43, no its just for the price of your car+plus the kit+plus the labor you would be better off with an SRT-4 |

#44, My engine will be fine. And if anyone brings up something about it being cheaper just buying an SRT-4, it wouldn't. They wanted $21,500 for it. They added a price to it, just like the did to my car when I bought it.
I think it was originally $19,400, something around there. |

People seem to forget that getting power to the ground requires more than engine work |

#43, I don't underestimate the neon... I just don't feel safe in a compact car. they are good platforms for cheap street performance, with a larger displacement engine than your average honda civic.
They still are FWD though, which will always limit your ultimate potential. |

#49, Nice link kstagger, I was reading a little about putting a 2.4 DOHC engine into my car, that would help alot and make the mods I get better. There's alot of stuff on that page I should look into getting. |

#53, Ya, I like the fact that my Neon is faster than almost all of the FWD cars out there. (excluding the WRX, and the Focus SVT). Only reason WRX is quicker is because of turbo... I got some work to do. |
