#19, i dunno - the net says a LG4 has somewhere between 150 to 190hp with 200fp of torque
it's probably wrong.

I'm torn on this thing. I don't know whether I should want one or not. They're a good performance bargain, and I like Chrysler products.
But on the other hand, it looks somewhat ricey from the factory, I don't like 4 cylinder buzzbombs, and the thing has NO OPTIONS apart from color and what type of seats you want. Every-damn-thing comes standard on it. |

It would've been better if you could option that engine/suspension on any Neon. But, then again, manufacturers have apparently decided that they'd rather go with clearly defined trim levels than allow buyers to option-out their cars. |

I've driven one, they're really quite amazing for a stock car. It's like a club racer in a box. And they launch almost unnecessarily hard for a FWD car. I almost bought one, but the dealer wanted $3500 over MSRP and wouldn't negotiate.
On the AWD issue, if it was AWD, it would cost more. If you can get one for MSRP or lower, it's the best car in the price range, without question. |

#32, It does get in the way a bit. Although it might actually be useful, the rear end stuck quite well for a Neon on the one I drove. |

I just saw an SRT-4 this morning, when I dropped my car off to get the tapping in the valve's fixed and some sort of rattle from the exhaust fixed.
They are pretty sweet looking. I liked it, even though it was yellow. I was thinking about trying to get one, but it would be cheaper to just throw a turbocharger into my Neon (which I'm pretty sure I'm gonna do sometime in the near future), and plus it would be faster than the SRT-4... |

#35, you do know there is more to the SRT-4 then just a turbo right? |

#37, Yep, I know. But if I got a turbocharger in my car, there would be more needed than just the turbo also, and it would be faster. |

#37, Oh, and there isn't too much more than the turbo... an intercooler, hehe. I don't think there's much more that it has than my car, and I would rather just have my car anyways... |
