Description:
UCF Formula-SAE car. Has a teeny V engine in the back (V-4?) and a chain drive. If it runs, I'd like to "borrow" it from the Engineering building for a while :-)

#4, Don't think one would fit, but since this is a student-built car, they should revise it for that purpose! :-P

#6, Oh, yeah, they were apparently UCF SAE's biggest sponsor.

#8, Dunno, but I doubt it. These are simple little cars built for a contest. Putting even a Formula Ford engine in would probably break the budget.

V4? not likely. V4 engines has balance shafts which is not a good thing to have on a light weight speedy car

#10, It's installed transversely with a chain drive. It's either 2 or 4 cylinders; I can't really tell, but it is most definitely a V.

#13, Well, I could take a picture from behind when I'm there tomorrow (this is in the lobby of one of the Engineering buildings, where I work). Odd-looking little engine.

#16 i was being sarcastic about stang's post, why the hell would you need anything more than a 4-cylinder in this?
