Come to think of it, really ANY well-restored or nicely customized musclecar between '67 and '70 is pretty much haterproof.

SOME post-70 cars are haterproof. #841 is one. But '73 Mustangs CAN be hated on, much as I hate to admit it. Big fat bloated car with a PUSSY engine. Now, a lot can be done with them, but stock, they really aren't that much.

A good friend of mine had a '73 Convertible in high school. (302, 3 speed, original GT package) Yeah, it was big, but it was still a nice car.

actually, I never considered mustangs and camaros musclecars. they're pony cars. musclecars are your chargers, your 'cudas and so on.

The MAtador! I forgot all about that thing! AMC's last full-sized sedan, only ever saw one in my life, as it was being loaded into the crusher at the local junkyard....

There's a Matador Machine that's always parked outside the garage of a house nearby, I should strike up a conversation with the owner...

That junkyard seemed to attract all the AMC's in the county, right before they cleared its' inventory of older cars last summer, there were at least 6 Wagoneers, 2 Eagles, a Matador and a Rebel

Someone pulled a fast one on me! I gave car #12 a rating of "8", and when I went to the next picture, it showed this car and said that I rated it an "8". That pisses me off. I raised this car's rating through no fault of my own.

#9, Post early 70's Stang's and Fbodies to me are considered "Performance Cars"

The muscle car era was over by then, but their overall design philosophy into the 80's and 90's was one that still tried to stress power over handling and luxury, so they really don't fall into the "sports car" category either

i've seen two matadors. a coffin-nosed sedan in Washington, DC in 1992 and one of the strang-looking coupes in Niagara falls, canada around 1994. strange that all the ones i saw were when i was on vacation

A hippie painted Matador coupe? That would be cool. Especially if it had a paisley vinyl top. I'd sport it then.
