I'll join in this one.
1984 Camaro Berlinetta: Free, but my parents paid $5000 for it.
1985 Volvo 244 GL: $3200
1986 Peugeot 505 STi: $150, but close to $1000 when I got finished.
1963 Rambler Classic 550: $3500
1989 Chevrolet Silverado stepside: $4000
This isn't counting the cars that were only "sort of" mine: the '72 Olds Delta 88, the '80 Datsun 280ZX, and the '78 Dodge Aspen SE.

Mine:
1. 1988/1996* Renault 5 1.1: free**, my parents bought it for around 500$.
* The body is from 1988, the car was brought from abroad dissasembled (no car tax) and rebuilt with a different engine for some reason (the C version only had 0.9l engines).
** a freebie, but I pay for all repairs and maintenence, fuel, etc.
