somehow i doubt that that was the reason that they were arrested.
more than likely there were arrested for a different reason but in order to get sympathy probably played the fact that they were wearing them when they were arrested and are saying thats thats why they were arrested.
other wise there is a police force somewhere facing major ass lawsuits.
