I seriously don't see the big deal here. Its a relatively cheap investment, and it doesn't look that horrible. Its also easily fixable if you dont want it. (Ever hear of a wonderful invention called a screwdriver?) They are built to take some abuse so they dont break. (they are not fluorescent bulbs, they are plastic coated neon)
Anyway, my point is, everyone here is WAY over reacting. I agree that the placement isn't good, and that he could have easily put his money elsewhere. But seriously, this is no big deal.

also the door is from an 85-87 but the wheels are 88-90
