I was up visiting my grandparents last week and my uncle was goine to turn a lebaron into a derby car, engine seized though

#14, You mean that you've got a regular photo of something, and you don't have a scanner? Generally, you can't get the best results with a digital camera, but it'll work in a pinch. If I were you, I would make sure that the picture is very well lit, then shut off the flash on the digital camera and turn on macro focus (close-up). That might work.

If glare off the shiny photo paper is still a problem, you might be able to do something like stretch a piece of tracing paper very tightly over the photo so it can't give off a bright reflection.

That's all I can think of, anyway. Generally a scanner is a far better device to use for that sort of thing.
