Seconds after this picture was taken, the motor crapped out and the frame collapsed right in the middle, and every body panel rusted out, it is a Vega after all.....

my dad had a Vega... right after his '70 Volvo - boy, he sure could pick 'em! I always say to him - so let me get this straight, all the great muscle cars were available back then, and you drove a Volvo station wagon? And then a Vega? He was a speed driver in the 50s - go figure.

My old neighbor had a Vega wagon sitting in his driveway until he moved away 10 years ago.
