#5, you could make more power for less building it yourself. or just buy a stroker kit that makes more power but doesn't have the GT40X heads (thats where a good bit of that price is coming from)

#7, even if there is theres enough junked 5.0 SN-95s to get parts like that dirt cheap

#8, This is the thing that always frustrates me. I wouldn't have a problem getting the money to buy a mild V8 and the supporting parts, but I don't have the equipment or knowledge needed. Otherwise, that thing (my car) would either already have a 302 or 351W or be about to receive a transplant.

#10, crate engine, plus engine crain, plus basic tools, plus a good book that covers swaps, and you would be good to go

What's with the lower lip airdam on that '65 back there? It would look much much better without it.
