#39, That would be ridiculously expensive (considering the benefit) and I can't imagine how I'd rig up the drains for it (can't have it sucking in water, can I?). Also, I don't think much air goes in there--think about the "bow wave" the car's nose creates at speed.

#41, the new Mach 1 has a functional hood scoop. its more for "ooh's" and "aah's" than an actual performance benefit. i wonder how well the WRX STi's hood scoop works??

#44, does it also include the hood? or just the scoop system?

#42, I like the way they've kept the triple-bar taillight design through most of the Mustang's production years. I think the 99+ Cobras look better, though (the little amber strip across the bottom of the lamp is nice).

#45, I think the hoodscoop on the WRX is a functional vent for a top-mount intercooler.

The system on the Mach I is absurd--the ducting goes back down into the factory airbox, and I hate to imagine what that does to throttle response. Makes me wonder why the '01 Cobra was rated at 320 bhp and the '03 Mach I, with the same engine, is rated at (if I recall) 305.

#45 pretty damn well, considering it feeds the intercooler

#49, Keep in mind that it's a 5-speed and gears 1-4 are pretty close ratios. Still, it's kind of silly that I can hit 50 in 2nd gear and still have almost 1000 RPM left.

#55, There are some SN95s that have horizontal slits across their taillamps, instead of the vertical design.

Yes! It looks like I may have just gotten a line on another set of intake manifolds. I still haven't decided what route I want to go on the heads yet, but at least I'll have something to port/gasket-match (after I get some gaskets..).
