Actually, I may keep this one, it's in a lot better shape than I thought during the initial walk-around, Interior needs some substantial work, and new floor pans, but the body outside is very straight, doors close solid, eveything lines up pretty good, I don't know just yet what I'm doing, other than driving it while the Formula goes through tear-down and rebuilding

#7, 3 spd auto unfortunately, but the owner had just re-sealed the tranny, and it shifts smooth, it was a real hard luck sale for him, he was married with 3 kids, and I think his wife pressured him to sell it, I promised him it was in good hands, he'd had it for 11 years....

#13 A) it was a 77.... it probably had a 400 stock. B) I had a 301.. non-turbo, they werent that bad. Put a turbo on an economy engine, bad things are bound to happen.

2 = Pontiac
T = Firebird Espirt
87 = 2 door coupe
Y = 301 V8 engine
7 = 1977
N = Norwood Ohio Assembly

I LIKE THIS CAR! It'll acutaly turn it's tires to black marks on the road pretty easily, my other one couldn't do that :)

I wish I had the money to get a project type car, there are a couple of good looking 5.0s for sale. and I believe I've mentioned my desire for a black TA before
