#20, Don't have to mention it, any kid born from like 77' - 85' desires a black Trans Am, some want one with a CB, and others want one with a talking computer, but it's always black, ever notice that?

There's a brown '79 Trans Am for sale locally with the original 400 WS6 and a four speed, in pretty good shape. It's only $4000.
Damn I wish I had the money.

#28, 400 is the best engine for late 70's F-bodies, its only good for 200HP, but that's better than any of the other mills which deliver from 185/150 hp on down.....

#29, It's my understanding that the 400 is restricted mainly by it's exhaust, and that installing a new exhaust and a few other bolt ons is good for something like 100 horsepower.

#33, I drive a first gen MR2, and the car's logo is a little hawk thing in a Porsche shaped badge, the MkI nuts call it the "chicken"

Nice car, reminds me of my 78' but mines the 400 with the shaker. Lucerne Blue right?
