#4, AHHH!!! DON JOHNSON SINGING! Miami Vice did have some good music, though.

Sings: "You belong to the city, You belong to the night, Out of the cover of darkness, Beneath the neon light...."

Just another idiot who thought he would be cooler by making his weak econo car look "different" Hey, I could replace my driver's side door with a brick of Wisconsin sharp cheddar, that would be different, would it be trophy-worthy? Nope! So why do these guys expect us to drool over somthing like this?

It's a FWD Monte Carlo, not a performance car, not a tuned car, just an economy car with a bit of "sport" appeal. Unless you do somthing REALLY big to rectify the performance shortcoming, I'm not going to give a damn about what shape you've sculpted the bondo into

#6, You might be suprised about the performance of the Lumina. I don't know about this one in particular, but my LS had a 200hp DOHC 3.4 V6. It wasn't bad. Not an excuse to rice it though.

#8, No such thing as a Lumina SS (not in the States anyway - the lucky bastards, they get a RWD LS1-powered Lumina SS).

#11, Uhm...no. The generation of Monte Carlo (ended in '99) that was very similar to the Lumina never had an SS package.

The Impala-based Monte Carlo (2000- ) has an SS package, but is in no way related to the Lumina.

LTZs had a 3.8 with 215 HP. My 3.1 doesn't feel to bad with only 160 hp. I guess torque helps it a bit.
