#17, It may mean nothing to you, but I'm sure it helps some of the other regulars.
Secondly, assuming I don't know what a timeslip is is a bit much, considering you are the one who didn't know the drivetrain of a Supra, even though it's blatantly obvious from the tires in the picture. |

oh, and I've never seen it run at the strip. But I've met the fellow who owns it and seen the motor, and based on that, I can guarantee that it should be capable of the times claimed. |

#23, fair enough ... but I still want to know why this guy thinks it CAN'T do a 9 ... with most cars you can sit there and point out a dozen things ... but, for example, on wed I went to a drag meet and honestly, there was no external obvious differences between cars that were doing 10s and 11s and the cars doing 8s |

i said if it's a 1/8 of a mile i believe it.but 9 secs in a quarter of a mile is really hard to do without MAJOR engine modifications but on the home page they even state that the heads have never been off the car.
the only reason i said anything is that all the ricers claim to have 9 sec cars but when you find out that it's in an 8th then that's pretty believable.
didn't mean to twist anyone's panties in a wad but it still wasn't answered( buy the people who know him or not) if it's 1/4 or 1/8 of a mile. |

#28, his reaction upon seeing the 9 sec claim was probably...
"a 9? no that can't be possible. no it can't. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!"
pure denial |

1/4 mile. And the heads may not have ever been off the car, but it's not exactly all-motor... |

you'll find out in due time. what it boils down to is, according to him if it an aftermarket part it has to be lighter and more aerodynamic |
