#39, He also believes that body kits add speed to a car while simulataneously making it lighter
-that most of the ricer cars on here are fake photoshops, because no one would ever do a car up that way....
-That you can't hate on any car, no matter how stupid it looks, because it might run 8's, you just don't know
-We're all 12 year olds who dont' know what were talking about, and probably don't even own cars

#41, well, it's possible for a bodykit to make a car faster by making it lighter. But most kits don't. Hell, most kits never see a windtunnel. Only a few companies actually do that bit. |

In fact, the only full-on kit manufacturer I know of that does extensive windtunneling is C-West. Incidentally, their stuff tends to look pretty decent, probably because it's designed with function in mind. |

#46, Yeah, he was convinced those uni-kits from Blitz or Wings West or whatever all improved performance, lately, he's been just trying to rattle our cages by finding the worst of the rice and saying "COOL!" in the comments, over and over |

correction, Motor-Ex (the guys that import Skylines) imports C-West kits, too. |

#50, really? I know their showcars are usually pretty built, but I didn't know their kits were designed with cooling and downforce in mind. They still suck, regardless. |

well there are plenty of big horsepower Supras out there... but I would hope this guy would do some kind of engine work or KABOOM if he's running too much boost. Me, I like Grand Nationals over these cars. Mebbe this guy ran a 9.98 once so its now a 9second car... but really a solid 10. Who knows...
but enough boost and you can get a CRX to run fast... yay. |

ah yes... I remember - the transmission on these are supposed to suck for drag racing... with many Supra owners going over to the venerable 2spd powerglide! for drag racing... at least thats what I remember from prowling at www.buickturbo.com |

#56, maybe the full racers. For normal driving, I've never heard of anyone having trouble with the 6-speed it's a T56 I believe, which should make it fairly beefy. |

supra is not that heavy. a 4000 lbs 69 plymouth GTX can do mid 8s on radio(fastest car on radio i belive), i dont see why cant a supra do high 9 (close to 10) on slicks |

#42, And no im not gone, just have moved to the forums, more in depths convo's over there :-p
And you seem to miss the point of how it happened everytime...
He IM'ed me started spouting crap out at me and I remembered a time i got to drive a Eclipse and rememberd how i wasnt thoroughly pleased. Then the next day i returned the gesture of trying to bug me and i showed him a ricer he would recognize, told him to defend it if it were so clean then he came here and got off subject... |
