Description:
I got someone to photoshop the hood and stripes that I want onto my car. The pic is a little old though; doesn't have my smoked headlights. What do you guys think? |

I like the idea of hood stripes on this car, but something just doesn't seem right about the ones in the pic. I think it's the way they cut off to abruptly at the nose. It makes them look sort of blunt, and it contrasts too sharply with the "flying wedge" design of the car. |

#61, Haha, have you seen my webpage? There'll be tons of pics. :)
Thx for the responses everyone. I just have a feeling on this one (and I'm pretty good with those usually). Some things just look better in real life than pics and I think this'll be one of them. By the same token though, I knew at some point on my car I'd start dividing opinions on my car if I wanted to be different (especially with stripes). After the stripes and the SS hood there won't be any more big exterior mods though. The only other exterior mods I'm going to do is get the Eibach Pro-Kit (lowers about 1.4"), get the t-top area painted black and the mirrors painted red. I'm doing the interior after I do the SS hood though and I'll get back to those other exterior things soon. |

On the interior, the first thing I'm going to do is either get my seats recovered in red leather or get 2000-up black leather Trans Am seats (with power lumbar - ooh). |

That's a tough choice. The T/A ones would be really nice but black leather is a killer in the summer. |

Hey Dave. I just checked out your website...looks GREAT. I have one suggestion for your Camaro though. I think it would look a LOT better if you spray-tinted the taillights a bit, it would help blend that black section under the deck lid in a lot better. I like that piece a lot, but after staring for a while, it just draws too much attention to itself. Tinting the tails would really bring everything together in the back. |

#65, Well I had black and gray leather on my last car so I'm not worried about that too much.

#66, Black seats with red leather inserts would look nice, but you need to coorinate the red into some other interior trim pieces, and the door panels as well. |

#66, Well, yeah I'm not so sure on the all red leather thing. I've been leaning toward the black T/A seats anyway because I need something with more support. |

#67, I've been thinking about that but I would be afraid to do it. I wish I could get some other kind of tail lights. Dare I say it, altezzas.. Don't go postal on me yet. I haven't seen any that I would use but I've seen some that were black instead of chrome and had a nice design to them. The design wasn't just right though. I had someone do a PS of what they'd look like if they were modified a bit and that looked good. I'm looking for the link now. |

Unintentinaly the inside of my truck is the same 3 colors as the exterior only reversed in frequency (if that makes sense) |

We were really jipped on the seats, eh, Dave? The T/A seats are so much better. I've got black interior and it gets damn hot in the summer. Find myself looking for a shady spot during mid-day classes. Sure like the looks of it, though. |

#73, This is something I have been thinking about for some cars (not mine). Buy some altezzas, and go on E-Bay and buy this red taillight spray-tint that roceboys use to make amber signals red...and spray the entire altezza light lens RED. It would work best with the smoked altezza lights, not chrome. That way, you get the different, dare I say unique design of the lights without the clear (looks like ass) look. |

#71, I'd go with T/A seats, I hate red interiors and I think red leather seats would look super tacky |
