Well we would have cheap petrol as we make 70% of our own but there is this little country called America and they wanted us to join this oil group. So we did as we do what the US does. Hence now we have expencive petrol.

If you haven't been to Sweden you don't know what expensive petrol is. We have to pay almost a dollar (US) for 1 liter ($3,70 a gallon).

Yep, that sucks, we get common unleaded 95 octane, and you get racing fuel.

I always buy the cheap 87 regular, unless you have high compression ratio engine, what's the point of buying the 93?

We don't have anything less then 95 here. We've got 95, 96 and 98. But I guess the average car in Sweden have higher compression ratio than the average american car.

taht's what it's like with sports cars that need super-ultra-premium-made-of-gold-gas and get about five miles to the gallon.

I remember when it was about $.90/gal. for regular gasoline in southern Georgia. Although I have to run premium, I sure wish I could still pay $1.20/gal. for it. :( Especially now...
