#20, you know that invisible force field preventing you from opening the jewel case (assuming the game isn't sold boxed), that needs to go. After you deal with the force field open your computers drink tray and place the frisbee like object you got out of the case in the tray, close the tray and then wait for something to happen (assuming you use autorun) :P

#24, I don't have the game, but according to a quick search I did, they appear to fix a bunch of program crash and game physics bugs that were present in the boxed version of the game.

ed: For example, for the 3.0 patch:

- improved handling system
- updated car physics
- quicker and more stabile texture loading
- most of random crashes have been removed
- skidmarks
- new particle system and new effects
- improved water physics
- no crash on Win XP if avi codec isn't installed
- non-lineal steering system
- drive aids and options to modify their values
- analog steering help
- force feedback support
- new ambient sounds
- improved sound engine
- built-in MP3 player
- Alt-Tab support
- crash if clicking edge of the screen bug fixed
- control options improved

#24, They just fix all the crap that the programmers should have fixed before they released the game. You can't even play the game until you download the first patch, and it runs spotty as hell until you get the other 3.

Hell, even then there are problems with invisible parts and cars disappearing from your garage. One time I even had a car duplicate from one of my saved games into another saved game. Of course, I can't complain about that, 'cause I sold the duplicate for $100,000, right when I was needing money. :D

#33, The 4 bangers are slow as hell. Avoid any close ratio trannys, though...the cars will be both quicker AND faster with the high speed transmissions. For example, V8 cars are always the quickest with the 4 speed high speed transmission. Put the high speed 5 or 6 speed in it and you should be running at least 14s.

I bought Street Legal Redline and my computer won't run it for some reason. :( It loads the menus and everything, but as soon as I try to start a game it crashes.

Needs more patch.
