#19, I was mercilessly picked on in high school, I learned what's really imprortant in life, and what others think of you ain't too high on my list, those who are "In" in highschool almost without exception bomb out of real life. Living well is the best revenge, and I know I won't leaving a trail of ex-wives/girlfriends and bills behind me as I go....

#18, #19, So be your goddamn self. Don't fall into the stereotype. Make your own niche.

I was a straight-A student, it was the social scorn I got that permanently turned me off to those who seek to be popular and envied

#25, I'm just crossing my fingers and hoping sooner rather than later. Not directed really at Bling, but all young people. I simply singled you out, Bling, cause you're the only one that posted anything like that. If RRB posted, I'd tell him the same thing.

in the second semester of 10th grade (note: only 10th, 11th and 12th grade went to the highschool) I had a car accident that probably should have killed me, it was after this that I realized I just don't give a shit what people think, popularity, teen angst and all that BS.

#27, As I said before, be yourself. Don't change how you are for anybody, especially high school fucks who you'll rarely think of 5 or 10 years down the road. It just isn't worth it.

ya, ya - doing my own thing and not following trends has really paid out in the long run for me... good job, good house, and some other 'social outcast' friends...

I was a nerdy type at school - but being big and tall, no one really picked on me... since I also had a mean streak (still do)... so I also stuck up for the real nerds whenever I could...

it's funny to think about all of the jocks now who in all probability are making way less then me and have to suffer through some mid-level / low-level job - hopefully with an nerd boss!

and remember bling, you probably have 1 in 100,000 chance of making it in professional sports - better start working on that homework, exercising that brain - because in the real business world - no one gives a shit about your athletic ability - but what you know and how you use it.

#34, I am.
I already come to terms that there is a VERY seldom chance I will be an NBA player.
The main reason i do it is so I can get a scholarship to college.
In terms of school I am an A-B-C student.
