for 5500 i could have an older porsche (944, i believe), it was for sale at the same place that i got my ranger, and it looked to be in a great condition

Despite the fact that the engine can´t´score high on the torque-board, i would be interested to see the horsepowers. As far as I understand it, he did some "real" modifications to teh engine, didn´t he?

Big ol' motors. Also, remember that power isn't what drives a diesel engine, it's torque.
