for 5500 i could have an older porsche (944, i believe), it was for sale at the same place that i got my ranger, and it looked to be in a great condition |

#6, well, when you buy a "hooked-up" car, i guess you are looking for speed, so a comparison to a porsche is better |

Despite the fact that the engine can´t´score high on the torque-board, i would be interested to see the horsepowers. As far as I understand it, he did some "real" modifications to teh engine, didn´t he? |

#10, a 1965 diesel? boy...i bet THAT has a lot of hp...is there anywhere that i can get the stats on old/new trucks in terms of their hp/torque? |

#12, Yes, I imagine so. Especially considering that the military version of the Dodge Power Wagon 6x6 is to this day considered to be one of the best off-roaders ever built. |

Big ol' motors. Also, remember that power isn't what drives a diesel engine, it's torque. |
