Dancing queen, feel the beat from the tambourine
You can dance, you can jive, having the time of your life (oh)
See that girl, watch that scene, dig in the dancing queen

Well...after Jurrell's singing all over the site today, we probably wouldn't think anything of it. :P |

The '70s - just like every other decade - had high and low points.
The decor of the time period was cool. I dig avacado countertops, mustard yellow wall phones, orange shag carpeting, leather blazers, and 2 ton luxury coupes with 400+ cubic inch engines, sofas front and rear, a vinyl top, and skinny whitewall tires. |

#8, I like 'em on a big luxury car. I mean, come on, who hasn't seen one of those '70s action movies before? The hero is sliding into a 90 degree turnoff in a dark brown '72 Lincoln Continental Mark IV, while the skinny tires scream and the body of the car rolls like a ship being launched. 9 times out of 10 a hubcap will fly off, too. I've just always found that cool. |

#10, i doubt that eve 315-wide tires would stop a 4000lb boat from sliding in a turn |

#9, The least powerful I can think of is the '76 Eldorado with 190 hp, so there!
Then again, it had a 500 cubic inch motor, so I guess it evens out. :P |

my parents had a '77 yellow 4-door cadillac with gold leather interior. Talk about being conspicious when driving. I had to borrow that car whenever my truck was in the shop... but it was a monster - I raced a convertible RX7 on the highway and tore him up...
(note this was back in like, '89) |

best thing about the 70s? Harvest Gold and Punk music.
Worst things? Haircuts, leisure suits, disco cocaine culture, EPA happy restrictions on cars which hurt the American car industry... |

I hate the 1970s makes me think of hippys and crack. I love the 1980s b/c of the extreme materialism. |

#18, Same here and don't forget disco too. And for the 80s, I like the weird fashion and hair metal. Oh yeah one more good thing to come out of the 70s was Smokey and the Bandit. |

#18, While there certainly were hippies in the '70s, the peak of the hippy culture was in the '60s. |
