Talon's and Lasers, and even Stealths are considered Mitsubishi breathen, if having slightly different body molding.
Chrysler merely slapped badges and some moulding lines on them.
Also, isn't MOPAR owned by Mercedes now (Wait, it is)? Should I call a Plymouth Duster a Mercedes now?

That whole "civic vs. viper" thing still has me cracking up. "4 banger eats a V10". Suuuure. Anyone who thinks that an 1.8 liter engine has modification potential than a 8.0 liter engine is just stupid. Stupid, no more, no less. The same goes for anyone who says "American cars don't handle, stooooopid rednecks." Pathetic.

i have no idea, its an illeagal street race. did u watch the video? im not saying every civic is faster than a viper. im just telling you about A civic that actually beat A viper. what is so hard to grasp? no excuses its plane as day.

Yeah, if a Civic is modified enough, it can beat a Viper. What about it? What does this have to do with laughing at ricers? If anything is modified enough, it can beat a Viper. If a Viper is modfied enough, it can beat anything.

Yeah, and the fact that a modified Civic can beat a stock V10 does not prove that the Civic has more modification potential. You're actually trying to say that the Civic is better than the Viper just because a modified Civic can beat a stock Viper.

In the video I can hear someone say turbo, but if been at the strip and heard a ricer call a K&N filter on a tube a turbo. But Im sure that civic has more then the usual ricer filter on a tube and a fart muffler.

whatever man. fact is that civic won. thats all that matters. on that day on that street, the civic won. if you were there u would have bet your money on the viper, and you would have lost. thats all that matters here. thats all im saying. it has its original motor with mods. still a 4 banger. its not like it was a chevette with a blown 454.

And? Like I asked, WHAT'S YOUR POINT? A modified 4 banger beat a stock V10. I don't believe anyone here said it wouldn't. And no, I wouldn't have put my money on the Viper, I would have asked what modifications the two cars had. After hearing about the mods on the Civic (they would be extensive to beat the Viper), I'd probably put my money on it. And it doesn't mean that a modified 4 cylinder will beat a modified 10 cylinder. More cubes = more modification potential.
