Read the context that I was quoting from. I wasn't saying a 4 banger can't beat a V10. I was referring to your earlier posts where you just kept saying "4 bangers eat V10s", like the fact that it's a 4 banger has something to do with it. I believe you made these posts over and over again on pages 3 and 4.

i took me forever to read through all these comments, and all i got out of it is some shit about a civic beating a viper, and a civic with a better 1/4 time then an r/t.
well heres my two cents (as if anyone reallys cares, though). i've seen the videos, yeah there pretty cool. any rich person can go out and by a viper and keep it stock, or buy a civic and pour in thousands of dollars to make it perform like a viper, which both are ok to do. it depends on what you like and what you want. i could have gone out and bought a sports car(not a viper). but i choose an accord (be nice). because, once you buy a viper or any other sports car, theres nothing really to do to it, jsut your basic engine mods. i love to work on cars, i chose the accord cause the after market parts are endless, this car will keep me in the garage for a long time puting mods on it, i dont plan on racing it, or making it fast, i just plan on having fun workin on it. without the spoiler and typeR badges of course

oh yeah, and heres something for the racers, i had a Dodge Spirit that i used to street race, ive beat the camaro's, mustang's and the civics. I wish i still had that car, it was quick. i dont know the 1/4 mile times, but 0-60 was unofficiallyaround seven seconds (buddy witha stop watch). so dont think that im rice only, i like anything, even the 86' Z-28 my bro had, up to a '84 ford f-150, with the 33 inch tires. oh theres also quit a few vipers where i live.

Say what you want, this fact remains: this pic of all these rice eatin trucks started in the top 10 non ricers, stayed in the top 10 non ricers, and was retired... IN THE TOP 10 NON RICERS! Even though fools like no1camaro, iMpOrT-tUnEr, mac, and others who get mad cause they got beat by an R/T, a TRUCK, tried to vote it up everyday. What more need I say?

I know I'm really late, but did any of you see the other view of civic vs. viper? The viper caught up at the end. If you listen to the engine, that civic isn't stock, sounds more like a high end engine inside a stock civic body(I.E. sleeper) . Comparing a civic to a dodge viper is like comparing a geo metro to a ford lighting. its a whole different class.
p.s. that civic engine sounds like a weed wacker
