I don't know about the mechanical aspect of it, but I like the appearance a lot.

well the 82GT is often frowned upon because of its factory performance. but for 82 it was very quick beating the camaro and vette in the quarter mile. so they werent really amazing but they were the beginning of awesome cars to come. i bought mine real cheap and it isnt stock and i have a lot of fun with it.

#5, your right. 157 doesnt cut it but these had only a two barrel and crappy headers going into a single exhaust. with the right 4-barrel carb and intake with a set of headers and dual exhaust, you would be right up around 215 220. or like you said switch engines completely.

At least it doesn't have the Cobra graphics from 79-81. But I agree needs more power.
