2.8L twin-turbo V8; 650hp, 492lb-ft; 2072 lbs; 230mph (claimed).
This car was built for Group B rallying, but never raced due to Group B's cancellation.

Huh? Ferrari in group B? Maybe... Lancia Stratos had a Ferrari engine. But I'm pretty sure that the car never raced in group B because in 86` the days of RWD group B cars were long over (last group B RWD was Lancia 037) not bacause they didn't made it in time. And 230mph max speed? What for??? This is rallying not racing!

#4, I read somewhere that the F40 was basically a 288 GTO with a more powerful engine and different body. I never thought about it before, but they do have some similar elements of their designs.
