After completing this car, something didn't look quite right. So I decided to do some further customization.

Much better now.

#3, The Axis overall bears a strong resemblance to a Nissan Silvia, but it's FWD. :P

#4, Oh yeah, I neglected to mention the customization was done via a wild ride in the city and some red spray paint.

I always end up with missing oil pans on my "wild rides" transmission sometimes if it's a FWD car

I lost my black V8 cam3ro. :( But it was a simple enough build, I can duplicate it anytime I want.

#8, Happens frequently. You just need to keep some money in reserve and replace whatever gets lost. This car was actually taken on two wild rides...first I did a little demo-derbying with traffic, then lost by starter and air filter. I took it back to the garage, replaced them, and then set out and jumped it nose-first into a telephone pole. You can see where it bent in both my front subframe and my firewall in the "after picture".

I also enjoy stripping the car down and trying to figure out what you can drive it with and what you can't...in other words, figure out whether parts are "important" or not.

Basically the frame, the wheels, the A-arms, and anything on the engine other than the header(s) are necessary. Beyond that, you can hit the street with absolutely nothing else. No drivers seat, no brakes, no shocks, you name it. Naturally it's fun going 160 mph with no brakes, and jumping over hills with no shocks is always a hoot (particularly on the landing).

I just keep lots of oil pans in reserve, I also usualy pull the front bumper off since they get damaged so easy. I generaly gut the interior

#12, Yeah, it's Street Legal, and you can get it just about anywhere. Wal*Mart I know stocks it.

There's also a sequel, called "Street Legal: Redline", but I can't get it to run on my computer.

Don't bother with Redline... even after the patches, it's still not as fun as the original.

Judging from the menus (the only part of Redline I can load), the music was definitely better in the first one. :/
