#18, But then again, there wasn't as much to prompt activity on his part. We started seeing major action from Bush when? After they flew planes into a couple of buildings.

#18, Sorry, but "taking action" doesn't make them any less pussified. Some guy pointing to something on a map and saying "destroy that" doesn't make him Clint Eastwood.

The most significant action he took on the war on terror was to bomb an aspirin factory in Iraq full of innocent workers and to turn down bin Laden three times.

Right. Because it's not like anything happened in Yugoslavia or anything during Clinton's term. And before you start in with more of your Republican bullshit, Clinton was a pussy, too. But at least, like Reagan, he was a smart pussy.

#20, Yeah, Bush did really well with Clinton's military, didn't he?

#21, All of the items I listed other than 09/11 happened during the Clinton administration. Also, he made the case for taking action in Iraq and made even MORE concise accusations about Saddam's WMDs, yet anti-Bush people seem to forget that. Clinton just didn't have the courage to take action on his info.

#23, Clinton desimmated the military to the point that soldierss families were on foodstamps, and talking to people I've met in the military, NO ONE respected their commander-in-chief. They followed orders as they should, but no one liked him and knew they weren't getting respect in return. Hillary even tried to ban the wearing of military uniforms in the White House, she detested them that much.

#24, It seems that for every mistake Bush has made, the only response you have is to say that "Clinton did it too!" Well, Clinton was a prick too. At least he was elected, and at least he didn't invent false documents to justify a pointless war in no way connected to the "War on Terror"

I'll just throw my two cents in once again...

I really hate Dean because he never stands by ANYTHING he says...once a group of people is offended by something he said, he retracts it. He has no cojones. All he wants is votes, other than that, he's spineless.

We have actually been lucky...most of our recent presidents, EVEN CLINTON, had cojones when it came to making a decision and sticking to it. Carter and Ford were kinda...eh...they were just blah.

Some of you are hopeless though, so I am not going to waste my time. Bush-bashing is popular to do, and if you want to be associated with people like Al Franken, do right ahead. We'll find out what kind of people are in this nation in November.

#28, I don't like Dean, simply because everytime I see any quote from him, it seems to suggest that he is criminally insane.

#28, I agree with all of that. I don't agree with all of Bush's policies, but I would not have wanted anyone else in office when we were attacked. He was the right person for the most important "issue" in this nation at this critical point of our history, our safety.

#29, Bush bashing is popular? I wonder why? Al Franken is my almost namesake, in addition to being the man.

#32, That just explained a LOT about you. Franken is one of the biggest morons alive, not to forget mentioning he's the least-funniest comedian.

#29, "and if you want to be associated with people like Al Franken"

Where'd that come from? Yes, he makes fun of Bush, but there are other people that do that for other reasons.

#26, Clinton dessimated the military

Bush's first military budget went into effect on October 1, 2002. Prior to that (you know, the whole invasion and regime change in Afghanistan) Bush was operating off of Clinton's military. Wouldn't you say they performed dutifully?

The problem with our military is that there is too much damn mis-spending in it. I come from an Army family, so I've heard plenty of stories of how people with asthma and spine defects were being recruited, begun training, then discharged when they (obviously) couldn't complete the final steps of basic training. Thousands upon thousands of dollars are spend on training EACH SOLDIER. Instead of wasting as much money as we do on the military, we should set a reasonable budget and try to use it more effectively.

#36, He's an extremist who's only idea on how to fix things is to insult Bush. Just as the 9 Democrat candidates, they have no real plans on what to do, they just want to say they're in power.
