#20, "Scott Wimmer (replaced Ward Burton in the 22 CAT Dodge, Ward is now in the 0 NetZero Chevy)"
Well, uhm...scratch that. Apparently, Wimmer was arrested yesterday morning for DWI, after he crashed an '04 Dodge Ram owned by Bill Davis (his NASCAR team owner).
This will probably temporarily wreck his NASCAR career. (unlike most professional sports, NASCAR has an understood moral clause for its competitors. Which was put to use last year when Shane Hmiel, a Busch series driver, was banned from NASCAR for failing a drug test.)
#17, hypothetically, if Scott Wimmer is banned from NASCAR, or if Bill Davis fires him, Dave Blaney is probably the most likely candidate for the 22 CAT Dodge full-time ride, so that should make you and all the other WoO fans happy.

Elliott is semi-retired? :(
He's always been my favorite. I'll never watch a NASCAR race again. :(
SCHWANZ! HAHAHAHAHAHA. You're a funny man, DiRF, even when you don't try to be. |

#22, Yeah, Bill wanted to retire completely, but Ray Evernham BEGGED him to stay as an active driver, they came to a compromise. Bill will run anywhere from 5 to 15 races each the next 3 or 4 years, depending on sponsorship.
He will be driving the 91 Dodge in all points races (since Kasey Kahne now drives the 9) But he will drive the 9 in the Budweiser Shootout (as a former winner of the Shootout, he's eligible for the race for the rest of his life) since Kasey Kahne won't be in that race.
Ray Evernham HAS said, that for the last points race Bill ever races, it WILL be in the 9
Many people have commented that Bill looks happier these days, he looks more relaxed, knowing he doesn't have to race for points, he doesn't have to worry about grinding away on setups and practicing day after day... I'm happy for him. |

He HAS been one of the most sucessful drivers ever, and DEFINATELY the most popular ever, and a great guy...so yeah, he deserves a break. Didn't he win a few races last year? |

1 point for every car you force into the grass.
2 points for every car you force into a wall.
5 points for every car you hit headon while traveling backwards on track (my favorite race tactic in NASCAR PS games)
10 points for hitting an opponents crew members in the pit lane.
(-10) points if you injure him.
25 points for finishing the race by pushing your car across the line, pit crew may assist.
50 points for finishing the race with a running vehicle.
100 points for flipping your car over the retaining wall, however you'll forfiet any points earned or any points for finishing the race (obviously).
Now that would be entertaining. |

It takes some skill too, they usually swerve to avoid you. I'd try to take out the entire field. It's an effective way to win. :) |
