yeah. GM really does sucks. the whole company is all fucked up. from design to marketing.
look at GTO for example . 35000 for an overweighted 8+ year old platform and 90's styling .... G35 out peforms it for about the same money and killer looks. |

#2, The GTO is going to replaced after only a few years with an all new one if it sells well. The G35 is roughly equivalent to a LT1 Z28 in speed. A GTO will slaughter it. |

1/4 mile, no doubt the GTO will kill the 35. but in over all handling, breaking and build quality G35> GTO. |

#7, Can you back that up? From what I understand the GTO handles really well. Plus how do you know about the build quality? The build quality should be similar the Holden Monaro which has really good - much better than US GM interiors have been.
Btw, I'm not biased against the G35. I love it. I would only slightly want a GTO more. I think people make a lot of assumptions about the GTO though because it's a GM product and they base it on past US models.

#8, Ok, I just looked up the braking. The GTO stops (60-0) in 120ft. The G35 Coupe stops in 112ft. Of course the GTO is heavier with its V8. Skidpad numbers are up for the G35 but they don't have numbers on the GTO. |

#8, 120 for GTO? dont think so. i dont have the exact numbers for the GTO but i read about it on car and driver and i remember the GTO needs lot more room to stop than g35. and overall, the G35 is better. dont get me wrong. i like v8 too but if i had 35000 to spent , GM wouldnt be the one talking it . |

Ok, found the Car and Driver article on the GTO. It has skidpad numbers on it.
G35 Coupe (Motor Trend): 0.87g
GTO (C&D): 0.88g |

#15, Right, and of course you're entitled to your opinion and the G35 is a great car. I just want credit given where credit is due. |

#16, I tried looking up the numbers on the G35 at C&D's website but they don't even list the stopping distance. |
