Description:
'91 Z28, 5.7 90k miles, a new addition to the family. Picked it up for $2k, the lube shop "mechanics" couldn't fix it, and rather than take it somewhere else, the owner put it up for sale as is! |

I've heard interesting stories about people who swapped TPI systems onto the TBI 350s.

4 injectors were shorting out, sending a signal to the ECM to cut off fuel. (I guess the master mechanics working there didn't think to check ohms on each injector....) Ended up frying half the harnesses as well but 2 hours and $200 later, its running like new. I'm wondering whether or not to call the guy up and sell it back to him, $4000. :)

Knowing you got this for 2k makes me want to go looking. I don't have any money though. :(
