Description:
Just got a set of these for my car from the junkyard for $15 each. They are 4 pounds lighter, half an inch wider, and 1 inch larger in diameter than the wheels I have on my car now.
Now I just need to clean them up and paint them. |

The wheels are pretty straight, but there is some curb rash. Nothing a metal file and some paint wont cover up though. |

#2, Im still thinking about it. I think my options are the same color, gloss black, graphite, or, if I feel ambitious, black spokes with a silver lip. |

Paint the part that's raised black and keep the lowered part and the lip silver. |

#6, wow, that would be pretty nice. It would take a lot of time and careful taping and painting. I could probably do it though. |

#4, So basicly are you saying that the spokes should be black and the lip should stay the stock color? I was considiring that, but it would be pretty hard with the deep lip on these wheels. |

The spokes being black, except for the indented part. But I like those wheels design alot more. |

#12, true. That could get tedious real fast though. :-P
Sounds like a weekend project for me. I really like the idea though and I have never seen it done. I may just have to do that. |

I get the point though. Yeah, the one on the left is what Jurrell is talking about. The one on the right is what I was thinking of. I have never seen anyone else do that, so I guess that would be the best. |

Anybody know how to clean wheels? These wheels aren't mine. Mine look as disgusting as one could expect from a junkyard. |

#18, It did get the point across. I think I will probably go with the one on the right.
Now I will need to find paint that matches the factory finish. |
