From what I can see in this image, it looks most like an '80s Monte Carlo...and since Dale didn't have the full Goodwrench sponsorship 'till '87, this is most likely an Aerocoupe.

#5, That comment kinda pisses me off...I mean, seriously, because it's Dale Earnhardt, there'll be people saying stuff like that.

Did people say "why can't people just let it go" when the movie "61*" came out about Roger Maris?

I've gotten over Dale's death... but I still want to see this movie, because I really don't know that much about his career prior to the mid-'90s.

#6, that wasn't ment to be an attack on Earnhardt, I would have said that about anyone. I am sick of made for TV movies that are just riding media hipe. if they want to do something to honor him or what not, why not just do a "The Life and Times of Dale Earnhardt" deal. have 2 hours of highlights that span his career with people commenting on them as they go.

Jayski has seen the movie, said it was fantastic, Dale Jr. has said he thinks it'll be great, and the trailer looks pretty cool. I am SOOOOO looking forward to this...

Ahh...I'm a white trash Nascar fan.

#11, The only movie I've seen him in (or remember seeing him in) was '61*', which I thought was excellent (Nice work, Mr. Crystal), and Pepper gave one helluva performance.

#12, Saving Private Ryan and We Were Soldiers come to mind, too.

He also had a minor role in Enemy of the State.

#14, In my opinion, We Were Soldiers puts Saving Private Ryan to shame. And I love Saving Private Ryan.

I didn't like We Were Soldiers much. It was a bit overdone, in a sappy, jingoistic kind of way. They did more praying than fighting.

mmmk. Aside from the chapel scene, I dont remember much praying. However, I havent seen the full unedited movie in about a year, just a few weeks ago on tv.

Saving Private Ryan not only is a great movie, but it's the bar that all other war movies have to meet or else be judged "cheesey"

That and it's the most gruesome depiction of death by MG-42 machinegun you'll ever see

#18, meh, I think Blackhawk Down went above that bar IMHO
