Description:
The 2006 Ford Fusion.

Will replace the Taurus on the street AND on the track. Ford's 2006 Nascar Cup car will be "based" (term used loosely) on the Fusion.

Here's the rear: http://autoweek.com/files/specials/...rdFusion_01.jpg

Is it just me, or is there some Australian Ford influence in the rear-facia?

Anywho... here are the stats:
Base engine: 2.3-liter I-4
Horsepower: 160
Optional engine: 3.0-liter V-6 Horsepower: 210
Height: 55.8 inches
Width: 72.2 inches
Length: 190.2 inches
Curb weight: 3,280 pounds

From what I understand, it is FWD, of course, but will be offered with AWD later on... and it'll be built in Mexico.

BiL has two. An AWD as a winter car, and FWD base model with hubcaps that they've had for a few years now. Both are rusty, but both are mechanically solid.
