no. this car is an example of what Maybach will build for you. thats right. a car built solely for you. find their site and take a look at the little intro movie they got there. the interior is bomb!. you can lie down inside this sucker!. this makes lexus look like a dumbass. NO SHIT!.

Maybe, but I don't think so, now an F-350 with a crew cab and extended bed, now THAT is a bitch to park my friend :-)

And i just realised that the Maybach prolly have cameras and stuff if you come up with the idea to fit this in a normal sized (european) parking space...A F-350 that big would need something like an airfield to turn around?

Nah, just a very elegant 23-point turn :-) It acutaly was easyer to park than my old dodge, which had NO wheel lock at all, you got one and a half turns out of the wheel and that was it, the 350's could go around at least twice.

These things are vulgar in the EXTREME, you know when a Bentley or Rolls looks understated next to your car, you fucked up.

Honestly, the biggest failure with these is how they looked. Yes, the details of the styling and all of the body panels and lighting elements are bespoke, but it still just looked like a fancier S-Class.

Look at what Rolls-Royce did with the Ghost. Yes, it was essentially a fancied-up 7-Series, but it looked vastly different.

I actually approve of how Mercedes is handling the Maybach name now. When a filthy rich asshole wants the best off of a Mercedes dealership lot, they can go the performane/aggressive route with an AMG, or ultra-lux with Maybach trim.

That said, my understanding is that these things are an absolute steal on the used market. Not "VW Phaeton" ridiculously-cheap, but not too far off, either.
