Any particular reason they used a late '70s/early '80s Malibu with a Monte Carlo SS nosepiece for this animation for a "Buick Turbo V6"?

Or does someone actually have said vehicle, but swapped in a Buick Turbo V6, then created an identical car for a (I'm guessing Need for Speed) game?

My NFS HS finally quit on me. It just stopped working and I dont remember which patches in which order to install in order to motivate it again. Well... it was good as long as it lasted.

the 3.8 Turbo was actually available in the Monte Carlo back in the early 80's.
