#61, The 360 really could use more entries in the "horror" genre. |

According to John Carmack this thing is a bitch to develop for, and is a few hundred extra dollars worth spending for supposedly better graphics than the competition. Although the speculation of free web service is quite enticing |

#65, The IBM agreement was pivotal, though. The hardware was all off-the-shelf stuff, and the only really proprietary thing was the BIOS. Once Compaq showed that it could be reverse-engineered, it was all over. |

I hear games will run from $75-85 due to high development costs, but hey, at least you get RIDGE RACER! |

While the PS3 looks cool, I was surprised to see how big it actually is, especially considering that Sony made the mini PS2. The 360 is crap. My first one dumped on me just after Microsoft's warranty ended (God bless Costco, they'll take anything back). The second one is on it's way out. PS3's controller felt really small after playing with the 360's for so long, but I like it. |

#69, I'm not exactly content with having to replace my 360 (I bought my first one in May of 2007, it bricked and I shipped it back in March of 2008, had my second one ever since), but the PS3 is just too damn expensive and none of the flagship titles look interesting at all.
The cloest thing to an interesting PS3-exclusive is Gran Turismo 5, but it's just shaping up to be another Gran Turismo, but with better graphics and dashboard views....the formula is getting old, and they had to go and release the pointless "Prologue" first. The car selection is also typical of the series....roughly 40% contemporary Japanese cars, and of that roughly a third are some variation of the Nissan Skyline. As far as I'm concerned, the combination of the Forza and Project Gotham series have both pretty much blown Gran Turismo out of the water.
