Nope there was a 208 as well. Obviously not a GTO, though. It had a sub 2.0L V8 that produced about 150 horses in nonturbo form. The 208GTSi produced 220 horses IIRC.

The 208 was replaced by the far-more-common 308 in 1986 or 1987, I can't remember which.

The 208 was only sold new in Italy and New Zealand, IIRC. It was sold concurrently with the 308, and both were replaced with the 328.
